Hi,

This week we went to the Perc Tucker gallery. It was very fun looking at the shoes which looked like giraffes, lamingtons and watermelons.

 There was a room there called the dinosaur room. In the dinosaur room you could paint the walls with your fingers, it was so fun!

 My favorite room was the room with the pottery in it. The pottery was silver and gold, it was very pretty. Our excursion was so fun!!!!!!!

I learnt that the real pieces of art don't look very much like the pictures of them in books and things.

Hello,

this week we have been learning about poems.We learnt that onomatopoeia means writing sounds, e.g.: woof woof. Onomatopoeia is usually used in poems. I think I am quite good at it.We also had to do a project on a poet, I did mine on Cicely Barker, Illustrator, Author and Poet of the Flower Fairies.It was very fun. On Tuesday we went to the life education van and learned about healthy and unhealthy foods.

Week 7

This week I stayed home because I didn’t feel well, but last Friday I went to the disco at the junior school plaza with my friend Lucy. It was fun. At the disco I wore some jeans and a grey long sleeved top with birds on it. After the disco I went to Lucy’s house for a sleepover. On the sleepover we hand fed Lucy’s bird, dell boy.

Week 5

Hi, right now hi we’ve have been learning about myths and legends, and fractions, but also doing a history road on Marie Curie. In drama we’re doing a poem called Samorina.
